Faculty
YMSC has attracted and built up a large group of top experts and scholars. As of September 2024, the center boasts a total of 87 faculty members, comprising 26 professors, 15 associate professors, and 46 assistant professors. The international faculty members hail from countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, and beyond. Among these, 33 faculty members are under the age of 35.
Currently, YMSC has 65 postdoctoral researchers including 26 new members who joined in the fall semester of 2024.
YMSC's team features world-renowned mathematicians, including two Fields Medalists, one Wolf Prize winner, one Crawford Prize and Marcel Grossman Prize recipient, one member of the US National Academy of Sciences and American Academy of Sciences and Arts, two members of the Royal Society, one member of the Japan Academy, and one member of American Mathematical Society.
