Focusing on the interdisciplinary research area of medical imaging and deep learning, this course systematically explores how deep learning methods can be used to process medical image data, empowering smart healthcare and providing innovative tools and methodological support for medical discoveries. It will cover trending techniques in image processing and medical imaging, showcase real-world applications of AI in medicine, and discuss key challenges such as interpretability, generalisation, and scalability.
