Abstract

The largest in the universe, the universe itself, and the smallest-elementary particles in the universe look very different and unrelated extremes. Modern cosmology and particle physics theory, however, show that they are actually closely related. In this talk I will describe what we understand about the smallest and the largest and how they are unified together. Several outstanding problems will also be discussed.
