Abstract:
I want to do a gentle introduction to the field of nonlinear dispersive PDE. It is impossible to survey the field in a talk, but I want to highlight several results which inspires/impresses me a lot. Both local theory and long time dynamic will be discussed. I may also mention a bit of my related works.

Short Bio:

Chenjie Fan earned his PhD in MIT, 2017. He was a postdoc in University of Chicago, 2017-2020. He is currenly an associate professor in Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science,CAS.
He works in the field of dispersive PDEs, and he is currently most interested in exploring the interaction between constructive blow up, random data, and harmonic analysis.
