The 2023 S.-T. Yau High School Girls' Mathematics Contest concludes in Beijing

On 5 November 2023, the S.-T. Yau High School Girls' Mathematics Contest successfully came to a close at the Experimental High School Attached to Beijing Normal University (ESBNU). Over 300 students from 23 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions of China as well as overseas countries, including the United States and Australia, applied for the competition, but only 120 were chosen as finalists. After two rounds of challenging tests and interviews, 18 female students excelled and were awarded gold, silver, bronze and merit prizes. Chen Tongtong, a student from Suzhou Middle School in Jiangsu Province, won the Gold Award.
