Classical Plucker formula relates the degree of the dual curve to the topology of the original curve in CP^2. Dual varieties can be described as Legendre transformation on cotangent bundles on CP^n. Plucker formula can be naturally categorified as how categorical intersection changes under Legendre transformation. This is a joint work with Qing Yuan Jiang and Ying Xie.

梁乃聪，香港中文大学数学系教授。于1993年在麻省理工大学获得博士学位，师从著名数学家，菲尔兹奖得主丘成桐教授。研究方向为复几何，代数几何和数学物理。梁教授于2010年获得世界华人数学家大会陈省身奖，于2013年当选美国数学学会会士。
