In this lecture, Professor You will give a broad discussion on the spectral theory of Quasi-periodic Schrödinger operators and its connection to the theory of Dynamical Systems. The lecture is intended for a general audience, researchers and students alike, especially for those interested in dynamical systems, differential equations and operator theory.
尤建功，教育部“长江学者”特聘教授、国家杰出青年科学基金获得者，现为南开大学陈省身数学研究所教授、博士生导师。尤建功20多年来系统而深入地研究哈密顿动力系统及其应用，在达芬(Duffing)方程稳定性，KAM理论，哈密顿偏微分方程拟周期运动、薛定谔算子谱理论等方面取得了一系列优秀成果。曾获香港求是科技基金会杰出青年学者奖、中国高校科技进步奖一等奖、国家自然科学二等奖等奖项，曾应邀参加第28届国际数学家大会并作特邀报告。
Prof. Jiangong You, Cheung Kong Scholar Professor and the winner of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, is now working at Chern Institute of Mathematics of Nankai University. His research interests mainly focus on Differential Equations, Dynamical Systems, Dynamics of Hamiltonian PDEs and Spectral Theory of Schrödinger Operators in the past 20 years. While professor You won the Outstanding Young Scholar Award of Hong Kong Qiu Shi Science and Technologies Foundation, first prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, and the second prize of National Natural Science Awards, He was invited to give a speech on ICM 2018.
