Abstract:Fourier analysis is a ubiquitous tool that has found application to diverse areas of physics and engineering. In this seminar, I will give an introduction to applications of Fourier analysis in optics, and in particular to applications in diffraction, imaging, optical data processing, and holography.
Short Bio: Dr.Shi Qingxiang obtained his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research primarily focuses on inverse problem of PDEs, especially inverse problem of wave equations.
