Description:

The lectures will be an introduction to different aspects of singularities of algebraic varieties. We will start in January with three weeks on the Zariski multiplicity conjecture and the relation with Floer theory. We will continue later (May - June - July) with topics motivated by other open problems such as the monodromy conjecture, the Nash problem, and the Arc-Floer conjecture.

Prerequisite: Basic algebraic geometry
