In this course, we shall discuss several topics
(for example, relative trace formula, local harmonic analysis on spherical
varieties) in the automorphic representation theory. We shall also concern its applications
to arithmetic problems (for example, the arithmetic of elliptic curves).
Students are encouraged to give talks.
Basics on automorphic representation theory (
e.g. Bump’s book).
