Recent developments on metric measure spaces with Ricci bounds from below

The notion of metric measure spaces with Ricci bounds from below was first introduced by Lott-Villani and Sturm independently. After that, adding some Riemannian condition by Ambrosio-Gigli-Savare leads us to defining more exciting spaces, so called RCD spaces which include measured Gromov-Hausdorff limit spaces of Riemannian manifolds with Ricci bounds from below as typical examples.

 
In this talk I would like to explain recent developments on this topic, including a joint work with Luigi Ambrosio, and their applications to Riemannian geometry.
