This is an introductory course of the theory of complex representations of p-adic reductive groups, aimed at people who are interested in the Langlands program. In the first part of this course, we will lay down the foundation for admissible representations. The second part will be on the Bernstein decomposition of the category of smooth representations.


Prerequisite: Some familiarity with algebraic groups will be helpful.
