Distributed Computing Concepts: Towards PDE-related problems

课程描述

Distributed computing underlies software platform in multiple areas, ranging from seismic imaging to web applications, and to financial services. This course is intended for students with a basic knowledge of PDE and sequential programing in Python, who is motivated to learn parallel programing for solving large-scale problems.

In this course, we will show tutorials and examples that use various types of distributed computing to solve large-scale problems involving solving PDE systems. This course also provides a range of suggestions and advice on how to develop flexible and scalable programs.
