Workshop on Mathematical Physics and Number Theory
There are two themes: a) mathematical physics and geometry (for example: mirror symmetry and moduli space of curves); and b) number theory and arithmetic geometry (for example: deformation of Galois representations). We hope to promote communications among researchers in each field. Any interactions between different fields are also highly encouraged.
Each speaker will give several talks. They will begin with lectures of preparatory nature before moving to more specialized ones. Graduate students and senior undergraduate students would have opportunities to follow them without assuming too many prerequisites.
